Multi-Currency Bookkeeping is Eating Your Accountant Alive

The problem

Sales in USD, expenses in EUR, payouts in both. FX gains/losses everywhere. Your books don't match your bank.

Our solution

We close monthly in USD as your functional currency, reconcile FX through a clearing account, and produce IFRS or US GAAP statements your auditor accepts.

Pick a functional currency and stick with it

If most operations are US, USD is functional. Convert non-USD at month-end rates.

Reconcile each platform separately

Stripe, PayPal, Amazon, Shopify each have unique payout/fee structures. We use A2X-style mapping for each.

FX rounding rules

Use the same source (oanda, xe) consistently. Switching mid-year creates audit headaches.
